Bronze Commitment to Quality Award badge from the AHCA/NCAL

One of Avamere’s core values is quality that is obvious. Teams throughout our communities live this value every day in the care they provide our patients and residents.

Quality that is obvious

Recently, the American Health Care Association publicly recognized fourteen of our communities for living this value by awarding them the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award.

Bronze award recipients describe their mission, characteristics, and key challenges and use these factors together to improve quality care. This award recognizes recipients for developing a foundation to begin a journey of continuous quality improvement.

Living the Avamere mission

Avamere Rehabilitation of Cascade Park Administrator Ryan Rose attributes their quality award to the staff and their commitment to enhancing the lives of those they serve.

“I’m proud but also ready for more,” Ryan said. “I believe this is just the first step of many to solidify Cascade Park as the premier provider of post-acute care in Southwest Washington.”

Avamere at St. Helens Executive Director Kristal Coleman also attributes their award to a dedicated team committed to their mission.

“Quality care begins with caring people,” she said. “The staff at Avamere at St. Helens are some of the most caring and dedicated people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Being a recipient of the bronze award is a reminder of how honored I am to be a part of such a special community.”

Embracing quality from day one

As a new community that opened November 2017, The Arbor at Bremerton achieved this prestigious award in the short year they’ve been caring for seniors.

“We have worked for quality since the day we opened and accepted our first resident,” said Community Relations Director Stacey Serad.

As the only bronze award recipients in Kitsap County, Stacey and her team are proud of their outstanding achievement.

Living Avamere’s quality priority

This award aligns with the company’s quality improvement priority. The Avamere team aims to create a high-quality patient and resident experience and be recognized for their quality standards, something these 14 communities have done by earning the Bronze Commitment to Quality Award.

Congratulations to our award recipients, including the wonderful staff who earned this award through the outstanding care they give their patients and residents. Thank you for living Avamere’s mission, values, and priorities each day.
